About the event
So many of our workshop participants have asked us for a longer and more in-depth retreat workshop over a few days. We are so excited to be offering this in 2026.
We look forward to welcoming you to the place we call home - the beautiful Kauaeranga Valley near Thames. (Less then 2 hours drive from Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga).
We invite you to join us for a deeper dive into natural art making. Over the weekend, we'll explore a wide range of plants that can be made into effective art materials, and have time to processes them completely from scratch.
Together we'll go out onto the land to gather plant materials - both from our cultivated garden areas and from wilder spaces along the river and forest. As we process these materials and test the results, we'll move between working outside and in the small historic hall, when desk…
