Create rich black, coconut charcoal ink, colour-changing butterfly pea ink, and begin exploring ink-making with your own garden plants.

With this kit you will be able to make the following:

- A jar of black charcoal ink, approx 25ml.

- Several bottles of Butterfly Pea Flower ink, of various shades of blues, greens and purples.

- A bottle of Gum Arabic Artists Medium, approx 30ml.

You can then experiment (with some tips from us) to make inks from flowers and plants that you may have in your own garden.

This kit has been designed for use by adults, but it is also very suitable for younger people that are able to read and follow detailed instructions, or who have an adult to help.

PLEASE NOTE: The charcoal ink is very stable long-term, however most flower inks will change with time.  While this kit contains a fixative to increase the stability of the colours, the aim is not to produce archival inks, but non-toxic inks that connect us directly with plants and that are full of creative potential!
